Dr David

David joined our team in early December 2025 and brought with him many years of experience, having graduated in 2004 from the University of Queensland.

Seeking a cooler climate in 2011, David moved from the stifling heat of Brisbane to our beautiful state.

While David enjoys all aspects of Veterinary life, his passion is in surgery - whether orthopaedic or general routine, he is in his element when gloved up!

When he isn’t tending to the needs of your pets, David enjoys life with his children. He practices Kendo - a modern Japanese martial art - and relaxes doing Bonsai.

David had a small hobby farm when he lived in Queensland where he kept goats, chickens, ducks and geese, and he looks forwards to having something similar here in Tassie!
